Simmba Trailer: Sara refers to Deepika as 'Sherni', says Ranveer 'ka encounter ek bahut badi sherni se ho chuka hai'

It’s a big day for Sara Ali Khan as the trailer of her second film Simmba, co-starring Ranveer Singh, released on December 3 and she is seen delivering a super se bhi oopar dialogue in the trailer. Sara, in a particular scene in the trailer, tells Ranveer’s Sangram Bhalerao, “Bhalerao, tumhe kabhi kisi ka encounter karna ho na, toh tum mujhse tips le lena (If you ever want to execute an encounter situation, you can take tips from me).” Asked about her dialogue at the trailer launch event, Sara came up with a hilarious comment with respect to Ranveer and we couldn’t control our laughter.

“Ranveer Singh ka encounter ek bahut badi sherni se ho chuka hai. Main kya hi karungi?,” Sara said at the event in Mumbai to a cheering crowd. In case you are unaware of the ‘sherni’ Sara was referring to, it is Ranveer’s wife Deepika Padukone. In November, Ranveer married Deepika in Italy and concluded post-wedding festivities with a reception in Mumbai on December 1.

Sara stars as Ranveer’s love interest in Simmba and appears in several dance and romantic sequences opposite the actor in the trailer of the film.

Simmba highlights several issues including the empowerment of women and fighting crime against women. It narrates Sangram Bhalerao’s journey as his character undergoes a valiant change in the film – from a corrupt cop, Bhalerao turns into a determined police officer, who sets out on a quest for justice to avenge a woman’s rape and subsequent death.

Simmba is the remake of Telugu film Temper and is scheduled to release on December 28. It is Sara’s second film after Kedarnath, which marks her debut in Bollywood.
