Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath are all ready for release on December 7 but before that, the makers are keeping the audience’s interest paramount by releasing one soulful track from the film after another. After Namo Namo, Sweetheart, Qaafirana the fourth song from the film Jaan’Nisaar dropped today and it is one of the most melodious tracks released this year.

The video of the song starts with Sushant who plays a Muslim pithoo called Mansoor being told by his mother to forget Sara who is a Hindu girl called Mukku due to the difference in class and religion. She tells him to concentrate on his work and on his shop. Their different religions are the biggest roadblock in their love story.

Jaan’Nisaar is a bitter and painful track that illustrates their angst and expresses the pain of separation from each other. Sushant and Sara beautifully portray the sorrow that they are feeling being away from each other and not able to express their love openly and with freedom.

The song Jaan’Nisaar is composed by Amit Trivedi and sung by Arijit Singh. The heart-wrenching lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Kedarnath is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and is set amidst the 2013 floods of Uttarakhand that ravaged the valley and caused a lot of destruction in terms of life and property.
