To get punched by him was an honour: Akshay Kumar on working with Rajnikanth in 2.0

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 2.0 with South superstar Rajnikanth has already created a stir in the film fraternity with their fans looking forward to this super duper collaboration between the two superstars. Directed by S Shankar, the film is about how a danger posed by a deadly winged monster forces Dr. Vaseegaran (Rajnikanth) to reassemble his robot Chitti, who only can fight this monster and save the world.

On Saturday, the team of the film hosted a press conference and Karan Johar, S Shankar and Akshay Kumar graced the event. Akki revealed several interesting facts about the film and also spoke of about his experience working with superstar Rajnikanth. "He has given me the role of a lifetime, I'll never forget it. It's a role of a lifetime and obviously, it's been a dream to work with him. I've learnt so much from him, and to come in front of Mr. Rajnikanth was another aspect. We have always seen him but I never got an opportunity to work with him and to get punched by him was an honour," the actor stated.

Made on a high budget of over Rs 500 crores, 2.0 is all set to release on November 29 in three languages, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film, produced under Lyca Productions, also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles.
