It’s November already and the universe is bracing itself for two big fat weddings of 2018 – Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh; and Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Sure enough, Shah Rukh Khan, who launched the trailer of his upcoming film Zero at a grand event in Mumbai on November 2, was asked to comment on the aforementioned, and while he was more than delighted to discuss Deepika’s wedding, Priyanka’s was what he decided to avoid conversation on. Well, obviously, maybe?
Asked about the ‘trend’ of marriage that SRK’s Zero co-star Anushka Sharma started in 2017 with her wedding to cricketer Virat Kohli, a journalist attempted to ask SRK to comment on Priyanka, but it was in vain. “My parents started this trend. Just because Anushka got married, doesn’t mean she started the trend. Marriages have been taking place since eternity,” SRK said while the journalist tried to complete her question and asked, “Ranveer, Deepika and your close friends, Priyanka is getting married.”

But SRK was quick enough to interrupt her and dodged the question smartly, saying, “Let everybody get married. It’s great. What can I do? It’s like begaani shaadi mein, Abdullah deewaana. Let them get married and have fun. What can I do? I am already married.”
LOL, that’s just SRK being SRK.

Priyanka and Shah Rukh are co-stars of the two Don movies directed by Farhan Akhtar. The 53-year-old actor was rumoured to be dating her at one point in time.

Priyanka and Nick haven’t announced the date of their wedding so far but are reportedly getting married in Jodhpur in December. After weeks of speculation surrounding their affair, the couple formalised their relationship with a roka ceremony at her residence in Mumbai on August 18 in the presence of close friends and family.
