Ever since Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment, the #MeToo movement in India has got big names like Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Rajat Kapoor, Sajid Khan, Subhash Ghai, and many others, embroiled into it. Moreover, on October 10, journalist Japleen Pasricha shared screenshots of conversations with a woman, who allegedly faced harassment at the hands of Ashish Patil, Talent and Business Head of Yash Raj Films.
Now in a recent development, Ashish has been sent on 'administrative leave' till further investigation by YRF is done in regards to the sexual harassment claims against him. The production house stated in a recent statement that they have earnestly requested the survivor to kindly step forward and share her account of the incidents.

"We seek her kind cooperation in the investigation so that we can appropriately address this issue. We are more than willing to extend our full support and cooperation to address this serious allegation. YRF has zero tolerance towards any form of sexual exploitation or harassment of women and we shall take the strictest necessary action against the alleged perpetrator, if the allegations of sexual harassment are found to be true," the statement further pointed out.
Post YRF's statement, the woman got in touch with the production house and the same was confirmed to a leading channel by their spokesperson, who said that they have started engaging with her. Earlier too, YRF had issued a statement saying that they will investigate the allegations against Ashish.

For the unversed, the unnamed woman had accused Ashish of touching her inappropriately during a meet-up, further alleging that he pretended to get interested in a script she wrote but later told her to make audition videos. However, Ashish has completely denied all allegations levelled against him by the woman.
