Ever since the trailer of Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan starrer Thugs of Hindostan has been released, the audience cannot wait to witness the Vijay Krishna Acharya's magnum opus on the silver screen. Now adding to the excitement, Yash Raj Films on Monday released a glimpse into the making of the upcoming fantasy drama. The first video in the series, titled Chapter 1: Building The Ships, narrated how two massive wooden ships were made for the film's shoot off the coast of Malta.

The video begins with the cast, director Vijay Krishna Acharya, art director Ino Bonello, and production designer Sumit Basu, sharing how they were keen to shoot the scenes on life-size ships but were worried how the process will be undertaken. Finally, they got a sigh of relief when they discovered a place in Malta, where a studio had the infrastructure to construct the ships.
