Amitabh Bachchan reveals that he was hesitant to do stunts in Thugs Of Hindostan at his age

Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs of Hindostan’s much-awaited trailer released today and at the trailer launch the superstars spoke about the issues and hurdles they faced while shooting for the film. Thugs of Hindostan is YRF’s one of the most expensive and elaborate films ever made and Amitabh who has been known to experiment with his roles of late is seen doing some hardcore stunts and action sequences in the film.

At the trailer launch, Amitabh spoke about his stunts and said, “It’s not my age to do stunts but Victor wanted me to do so I did. My body still aches. I wore armour in the film for my role but thankfully it was made of leather and not steel. I held two swords and we shot in the heavy rains due to which my leather armour became even heavier. I also donned a wig of long hair. It was difficult to shoot.”

Talking about the film he said, “For me story matters and not the star cast. I haven’t seen any such film on Indian screen.
