Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the latest and hottest rumoured couples in Bollywood. The actors who recently wrapped their upcoming film Brahmastra in Bulgaria have been quite frank about their relationship. In fact, their respective families have also been quite accepting of their children’s choice and time and again Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor and Alia’s parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan have given the lovebirds their green signal.
A leading daily reported that there are new developments to the love story. Apparently, Ranbir has been invited for Mahesh’s upcoming 70th birthday bash on September 20. According to reports the veteran filmmaker’s wife and daughters Shaheen and Alia are planning a grand celebration to ring in the milestone year and as per reports Mahesh has personally invited Ranbir for the function. If the rumours turn out to be true then this will be the first time Ranbir will be partying with Alia’s family.

Ranbir and Alia have been going great guns in their relationship. Soni in a recent interview called Ranbir a lovely boy, whereas Rishi had previously said that he and Neetu like Alia. Now, that the respective parents have given their nod will the family decide a wedding date as well?

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be sharing screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra that also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
