I wish I could draw a line: Shahid Kapoor on Misha being papped

Star kids, rather babies, are an internet obsession – so much so that pictures of them – be it Taimur, Misha, Yash or Roohi, begin trending soon after being made available online. Not that celebrities haven’t voiced concern over the fact that photographers are forever ready to take pictures of their children upon a single glimpse, but now, it has become a way of life for them.

Shahid Kapoor, in fact, also expressed dissent saying that if he doesn’t post a picture of his daughter Misha – his first child with wife Mira Rajput – she will be clicked otherwise and her pictures will circulate across social media thereafter. But like we’ve mentioned earlier, Shahid as well, has accepted it as he has realised that the paparazzi culture is a part of his job.

“If I don’t post the pictures of Misha, somebody will click her and that is my reality. I wish I could draw a line... I would have drawn it long back. People should draw a line. Children when they are in natural spaces they should not be made so conscious of themselves. It is part of my job and I know what comes with it. I am doing my best to find comfort with it,” Shahid said while speaking to a news agency.

The 37-year-old actor, however, isn’t bothered with the constant glare of the media since he is habituated to it.

“These days you get noticed a lot, it has all changed. I think the kids who are starting out and who are new should worry about it. I don’t get scared by overexposure. I have been here since 15 years,” Shahid added.

Meanwhile, Shahid and Mira welcomed their second child together, son Zain, on September 5.

Workwise, Shahid is gearing up for the release of his new film Batti Gul Meter Chalu on September 21. After its release, he will begin work on the Hindi remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy.
