The trailer for Vipul Shah’s Namaste England starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra is out now. It manages to show an array of emotions in the 3-minute video. The trailer gives us a slight glimpse at what we can expect from the film and we already have our expectations high. Here’s why!

The trailer introduces us to Param (Arjun) and Jasmeet (Parineeti) who are based in Punjab. They eventually fall in love and is just like any quintessential Bollywood love story. They enjoy their share of fun and drama. Param, a desi fellow is madly in love with ambitious Jasmeet. Soon, they tie the knot in a big fat Indian wedding and begin to explore the depth of each others character. She has plans that don’t allow her to settle behind the kitchen doors. Param explains that love is all that it takes for two people to remain happy. But Jasmeet isn’t buying it.

The trailer progresses to reveal that Jasmeet has decided to leave everything behind, including her man, and goes to London. There, in spite of having lost everything, she is ready to face challenges and start anew, building a new world for herself. Her husband, Param is trying to find a solution and manages to find her in the foreign country “legally or illegally”. After many arguments and complications, they return home. But what makes them do that? Is it Love? Is that all it takes? Well, that’s what we have to watch when Namaste England hits the theatres on October 19.

Unlike most movies that make their way to the audiences, the makers of Namaste England have remained rather silent with their generic promotions. However, the lead duo maintained their levels of sass and wit on social media and made sure the buzz never died. It’s a tale we’ve been hearing, thinking and seeing off late. Hence, making the story relatable.
