Janhvi Kapoor made her much-awaited debut opposite Ishaan Khatter with Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak, which was bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Apart from their acting skills, the audience also praised Ishaan's and Janhvi's chemistry on screen. But KJo, in the latest episode of his radio chat show Calling Karan, hinted at the Dhadak duo being a perfect couple off-screen as well.
For the unversed, Karan is back with the new season of the show and is often heard giving answers by sharing anecdotes from his life with the listeners. From claiming that Ranbir Kapoor would make the best husband in the world to advising Ayushmann Khurrana about extramarital affairs, he has been grabbing a lot of attention for his interesting statements. So when recently a listener asked him to rate the new onscreen couple Ishaan and Janhvi, Karan's reply was, "They have terrific chemistry. They’re always laughing at jokes that nobody else understands. They complete each other’s sentences and they are amazing on screen. So 10 on 10."
Well, it would not be wrong to say that their camaraderie has already wooed everyone during the Dhadak promotions.
Meanwhile, in the latest episode, Karan addressed the topic of romance at the workplace and said, "These days an average person spends so much time with people they work with, office romance is inevitable." On being asked if workplace romance is prevalent in the entertainment industry, he quipped, "If dating in the workplace were illegal, then most of Bollywood would be single." To say the least, we aren't surprised.
Interestingly, he also revealed how he tried to play cupid to his Lust Stories actors, Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal. Talking about it, he said, "I thought Vicky and Kiara would have a vibe because of the film and the content. They had a very buddy zone with each other. I was very disappointed that nothing happened. I tried to play cupid because they were both single and I thought they would make a really cool, fun pair but my full plan fell flat."
