Kareena Kapoor Khan reveals her mantra of life and every woman should live by it

Who doesn’t love Kareena Kapoor Khan? She is ethereal, infinite and the glam goddess every woman aspires to be. And in case you are of the opinion that it is difficult to lead a life like that of the 37-year-old actress, please note that it isn’t a herculean task at all. In fact, it’s pretty simple, as revealed by Kareena in an interview with a news agency.

All you need to do is live your life just the way you want, “fearlessly and confidently”. Not only has Kareena continued working after marriage as opposed to the prevalent norm but has also done so on her own terms. In case you weren’t aware of this, Kareena walked the ramp at a fashion show just about 46 days after her son Taimur’s birth. Her mantra, thus, is effortless.

"It is important for women to be fearless. It is necessary to be fearless in your choices. I am a fearless person myself. Be it the choice of roles I have made, the way I lived my life post marriage or after a baby. The idea is that a woman should constantly live her life the way she wants. It should be (done) fearlessly and confidently. That has been my mantra of life," Kareena told the news agency.

Apart from starring in films of several genres, Kareena is celebrated for being a fashionable superstar but you might be surprised to know that she doesn’t consider herself a “diva”. Instead, she believes that she is the “most normally dressed person”. And even if, for a second, Kareena does treat herself as glamorous, she opines that it is a natural factor in her.

“I don't consider myself a diva. I think I am as normal a person as anyone else. I stay in my most normal clothes. I think I am the most normally dressed person when I am flying. I never sport an airport look. Being a diva or being glamorous comes naturally to me. I don't know how and why it is like that... But I like it when people say I am a diva or a fashion icon. But at the same time, there is a side of me when I am without any make-up, like any other woman. When I am at home with my family, I am just myself," she added.

True that!

Kareena is married to actor Saif Ali Khan and Taimur is their first child together.

Kareena made her debut in the film industry with Refugee in 2000 and subsequently starred in the films Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham..., Aitraaz, Bewafaa, Jab We Met, Kurbaan, 3 Idiots and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. After appearing in 2016’s Udta Punjab, she took a short break and made her comeback with Veere Di Wedding in June. She will feature next in Karan Johar’s Takht.
