Janhvi Kapoor isn't competing with anyone, says "I'm excited to see Sara, Ananya and Tara"

Janhvi Kapoor made her much-awaited Bollywood debut with film Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter in July. Daughter of late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi boasts a considerable fan following and her debut project went on to become the highest-grossing film starring newcomers in recent years.

But apart from her, there's another star kid who is making her foray into Hindi cinemas and has become a favourite amongst the Bollywood enthusiasts. Well, we are talking about Saif Ali Khan's and Amrita Singh's daughter, Sara Ali Khan. Just like Janhvi, Sara who is slated to make her debut with Kedarnath, has also been roped in by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions for Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba. Apart from these two young girls, there's Chunky Panday’s daughter, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, who will be seen making their foray into Bollywood with Student Of The Year 2.

When asked if she feels a sense of competition with her contemporaries, Janhvi told a leading daily, "I don’t know why everyone is pitting us against each other. I guess people enjoy doing that. Competition is a bad thing if you make it sound that way."

She further questioned that why only women are pitted against each other and added, "Why is no one asking Ishaan (Khatter) the same question - if he’s feeling the sting of competition, too! People love pitting women against each other. But in reality, we can be happy and celebrate each other’s success. It’s easy to co-exist if you are doing a good job."

In fact, the 21-year old is excited to see Sara, Ananya, and Tara. "I haven’t interacted with Tara, but I have spoken to Sara and Ananya and they’re so full of life. They are amazing people and I’m excited to see them on screen because I’m sure they will be magic. It’s good to see so much new talent coming into the industry," Janhvi quipped.

Well, we are completely impressed by Janhvi's idea of a healthy competition. We wonder what Sara, Ananya, and Tara have to say about it.
