December, we cannot wait, already. Ranveer Singh shared a short promo of his upcoming film Simmba on Sunday and it is winning the internet swiftly. Handsome in a shirt and pants, Ranveer, in the clip, poses on a police jeep led by a procession of several women on bikes – dressed in bright orange. “This December...WOMAN POWER...ROHIT SHETTY ISHHHHTYLE!!!,” Ranveer captioned his post.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba casts Ranveer as a policeman while Sara Ali Khan will play his love interest. Simmba will focus on several issues including the empowerment of women and fighting crime against women. Ranveer’s post, in the meantime, has garnered over 6 lakh views within hours of being made available online.

On Independence Day, Ranveer had shared another clip, which featured snippets from the set, depicting the “#POWEROFSIMMBA”. It also encompassed powerful one-liners such as, “If you don’t fight crime against women, the next victim could be from your family.”

While speaking of Simmba earlier this month, Ranveer had said that the film is a family entertainer and that he cannot wait for his fans to watch it.

"It is my biggest film and it is something that I am really excited about. It is something which Rohit Sir and I are going all guns blazing for. I think it will be full-on family entertainer which is kind of films that I want to be part of going forward,” Ranveer said, as reported by a news agency.

Moreover, is reports are to be believed, Ajay Devgn is expected to appear in a cameo in Simmba, which is the remake of Telugu film Temper.

Simmba is scheduled to release on December 28.
