Unless someone has been living under a rock, the name 'Suhana Khan' is not unknown. Bollywood's biggest celebrity, Shah Rukh Khan's 18-year-old daughter, is already a celebrity in her own right. The teenager has been abroad for her studies. Recently, after completing her schooling in London, she came to Mumbai and what was awaiting here for her was a larger-than-life opportunity.

One of the most sought-after fashion magazines, Vogue India, featured Suhana on its cover for the August edition. Her dreams and ambitions of wanting to walk the same path as her father, and become an actor are not a secret. With her first ever Vogue cover, Suhana officially became a public personality. Shah Rukh, who has seen his daughter's performance only once, has always been affirmative about her choices, but only after she is done completing her education. In her Vogue interview, Suhana, too, has given her education a higher priority.

Although her cover attracted much flak, rumours of her big Bollywood debut also gained momentum. Now, a leading Bollywood magazine reports that the rumours could be true and SRK could be looking at directors to launch her daughter. While filmmaker Karan Johar, who is also close to the superstar, seems to be an obvious choice it might not be him.

The magazine's source reported, "His son Aryan is not yet inclined towards acting. But, daughter Suhana is definitely interested in an acting career. Shah Rukh wanted her to go through the grind. She has been doing theatre regularly. Now Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri feel Suhana is ready for a film career. Karan Johar is too obvious a name to do the needful. I think Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri are looking at some other names. As far as I know, almost every major filmmaker in Mumbai from Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Sujoy Ghosh have shown an interest in launching Suhana."
