It was announced just a few days back that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will be coming together on-screen with Anurag Kashayp's Gulab Jamun. Aish herself confirmed the news to a daily and mentioned that she liked the script and asked her hubby to come on board for it.
Now, as reported by a leading daily, the rumours are rife regarding an addition of another cast member in the film. If the report is anything to go by, then it's none other than Amitabh Bachchan himself, who can be seen alongside Abhi and Aish in Gulab Jamun.
In fact, it is also likely that he plays the character of father to both of them or either. The report mentioned a source saying, "After initiating talks with Abhishek and Ash, the makers had given a narration to Big B last year, following which he had suggested a few tweaks to the script. It was after the wrap- up of Manmarziyan last month that conversation around this film started again".
The source added, "Anurag reached out to Big B with the reworked script. If all goes as planned, he will be on board soon. It is yet unknown whether he will be playing a father to Abhishek or Aishwarya.” The trio was last seen in Sarkar Raj ( 2008) together".
Gulab Jamun is said to be a nice slice-of-life film and both Aishwarya and Abhishek are looking forward to begin shooting for the film.
