Virat kisses his wedding ring and gives flying kiss to Anushka after scoring ton in England

Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli scored his 22nd century yesterday. It was his first ever in Test cricket in England. The skipper led the team from the front and scored more in this first innings than he did in 10 innings in 2014. Kohli hit a century in 172 balls with the help of 14 boundaries. However, apart from his ton what really warmed our hearts was his action of kissing his wedding ring and looking at wife Anushka Sharma who was cheering for him at the stadium and pointed his bat towards her. He also gave a flying kiss to her.

It is not the first time that Virat has dedicated his ton to his wife Anushka. The couple who got married last year in December in a fairytale wedding in Italy has often displayed their affection for each other on social media as well as on the cricketing field. Virat has often gone on record and credited Anushka for keeping him motivated and being the support that he needed in the low phase of his career.

Virat and Anushka are definitely setting relationship goals, aren’t they? The two extremely busy celebs regularly take time out to spend some quality time with each other. During the IPL season too, Anushka cheered Virat and his team from the stands, although his team Royal Challengers Bangalore did not do too well at the season which was once again won by MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.

Virat was on 97 when Umesh Yadav walked into bat and India’s score was 217 for 9. Virat benefitted after his catch was dropped when he was at 21 runs. The Indian cricket team captain single-handedly pulled India out of the woods against England in the Test. Kohli’s 149 will rank amongst one of the finest and much-needed hundreds by an Indian batsman on English soil ensured that the team managed to reach 274 thereby bringing the first innings deficit by only 13 runs.
