Salman Khan has become the most coveted godfather in the industry recently. The superstar actor has launched several new faces in the industry while giving many a much-needed leg-up in their dwindling careers. Salman has launched Daisy Shah, Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Zarine Khan and others. He will also be launching his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain in Loveratri, and Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Ashwami Manjrekar in Dabangg 3.
Now, Salman has taken another new kid under his wing and it is none other than his old co-star Mohnish Bahl’s daughter Pranutan Bahl. The film will be directed by Nitin Kakkar and Salman will co-produce it. The film is expected to go on floors soon.

Pranutan will star opposite newcomer Zaheer Iqbal who is also the son of a close friend of Salman. The Race 3 actor had recently tweeted introducing Zaheer, “How these kids grow up so soon... ALWAYS keep giving your best #ZAHERO no matter what. Stand tall and always bend backwards for those u love and those who love u, Yeh yaad rakhna that the most important thing in life is Respect and Loyalty. @iamzahero.”
Pranutan had taken the social media by storm last year when people realized how pretty the young actress is. She had said in an interview given to a leading daily last year that she wants to take her family legacy forward by joining the film industry.
Her grandmother was the much acclaimed and popular screen icon Nutan, while her great-grandmother Shobhana Samarth was an equally popular actress of her time. Pranutan bears a striking resemblance to her grandmother and people often comment on her photos about it. Pranutan had said that she loves her grandmother’s films like Sujata, Bandini, and Saudagar.
Pranutan has been receiving offers from the industry for some time but was waiting to complete her education first before taking the plunge in Bollywood. Salman and Mohnish have worked together in popular and iconic films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun!, Hum Saath Saath Hain and others.
