There are strong speculations in the grapevine about the Dharma Productions' next. The news has long been surfacing that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar have been roped-in to play the lead in Karan Johar's next, which will be directed by debutant Raj Mehta. The director has earlier assisted Shashank Khaitan on the Dulhania series.

Now, adding to the speculations, there's a news that Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani are also going to be cast in the film. It's a story of a couple in Delhi who's trying to have a baby and the characters of Diljit-Kiara help them.

Earlier, it was learnt that the film will have a senior couple and a relatively young one. While it was sure that Kareena is making her re-entry into Dharma with this one, this is Akshay's first project with Dharma. However, the two have worked together in films like Bewafaa (2005), Ajnabee (2001), Aitraaz (2004), Kambakkht Ishq (2009) among many others in the past.

A leading daily reported about Kiara and Diljit starring in the film and quoted a source saying, "Though Diljit and Kiara are yet to sign on the dotted line. They have loved the story and have given a verbal nod to the project. They are all excited about the film. Raj has already started prep. The film is expected to roll towards the year-end".

Dharma is all packed with some interesting films in the lineup. Let's wait for the official announcement of this one!
