Akshay Kumar tweets 'It's Coming Home' to announce GOLD's latest song. Reading between the lines?

Akshay Kumar starrer GOLD is releasing its another song soon. Announcing the same on Twitter, the actor posted a picture of the gold medal with a striking caption. He posted this:

Now, those who are hooked to the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2018 would know why did we call this a 'striking' caption. But, for those who are not, it seems like Akshay just took a sly dig on England's defeat in the football game.

The team England is out of FIFA 2018. In fact, the England cricket team also had to face a difficult defeat on the hands of Indian cricket team recently. The caption 'It's Coming Home' could just be a way of mocking what happened with the England teams in both the sports.

However, the legend of 'It's Coming Back Home' dates back to 2006. It's actually driven from a song by Three Lions featuring The Lightning Seeds, David Baddiel and Annie Skinner. Check out the video:

GOLD is based on a real-life story of a man, who wanted to bring India its first gold medal in hockey Olympics as a free nation. Another song from the movie was released recently, featuring both Akshay and the film's leading lady, Mouni Roy. Here:
