3 interesting statements by Janhvi Kapoor on Anshula, mom and a 'difficult' film industry

Janhvi Kapoor is just a few days away from the release of her big Bollywood debut, Dharma Productions' Dhadak. The movie features her as Parthvi, a Rajasthani girl who falls in love with a rather naive boy named Madhukar, played by Ishaan Khatter.

The two young actors are busy promoting this Shashank Khaitan directorial these days. While talking to the media during one such promotional interview, Janhvi opened up on more things than films. She talked about how her parents have worked hard to give her and her sister, Khushi Kapoor, an easy life. She also talked about why it's not easy to be a part of the film industry and who's that one Kapoor she would like to be featured in a film with. Here are some interesting statements she made:

On how father Boney reacted to her decision of becoming an actor:
"He was very chilled out. He is like a typical Kapoor -- full bindaas. He was very supportive. He eased more into the idea. He was very happy and helped mom get convinced and he was excited that I chose to prove myself or do something with my life".

On why did she choose this professions:
"My mom always used to say that she has worked this hard because she wanted her children to have it easy, a relaxed life. I wanted a fulfilling one. That meant much more to me. I would have lived unsatisfied if I would've lived on what my parents gave me"

On why it's not easy to live in a film industry:
"My parents have worked very hard to get where they are. People sometimes underestimate how hard being a producer or being an actor can be. I understand that there are more people, (like the ones who are) fighting in war and saving lives. All of that is of great importance but you can't compare the two. It’s (being an actor or producer) not a nine to five job. It’s a lifestyle to be in this profession".

On one Kapoor she would like to work with:
"All of them. But, I think Anshula... because not everybody knows that she's such a good performer".
