Is Ranbir Kapoor dating Alia Bhatt? Main iss sawal ka jawab dene ke liye Raazi nahi hoon he says

Ranbir Kapoor is riding high on the success of his latest release Sanju and is busy collecting praise and appreciation for his magnificent portrayal of Sanjay Dutt. The actor, following box office damps (Bombay Velvet, Tamasha, Roy and Jagga Jasoos) was in need of a desperate hit more than anybody else in the industry at present. And Rajkumar Hirani gift wrapped the life of Dutt and gave him one! The movie is his best number-spinner till date and the only one to fetch Rs 200 crore let alone make other record at the box office. Cloud 9 would be an understatement to sum up where his happiness is at!

Another reason why the Kapoor scion has been dominating headlines is his love affair with actress Alia Bhatt. Breaking silence on rumours of their relationship, Ranbir, in an interview with a leading magazine did confirm that he is romantically involved with his Brahmastra co-star but he wants their bond to 'cook a bit' before they talk more about it. And thus, when a leading tabloid recently quizzed the actor about dating Alia, he replied saying

"Main iss sawal ka jawab dene ke liye Raazi nahi hoon!"

His movies have been talked on and off about but Ranbir's relationships have always been the point of discussion. Be it Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif, Ranbir has been linked with several of his co-stars in the past but only confirmed his relationship with one. Rumour mills at one point even suggested that he was planning to marry Katrina, and the couple went their separate ways soon after speculations of wedding did the rounds. Post breakup with Katrina, a year later, Ranbir is now seeing Alia. While we feel he was single before he began dating Alia, he asserts he is never single.

"Erm... I'm not single. I'll never be single."

He further adds, "To find love, relationship, companionship repeatedly is very rare. When you isolate yourself so much from the world, you tend to find that one person you can devote, or direct every feeling and emotion towards. Because it comforts and shelters you. That one person makes your life easy. And sometimes it comes in the form of friendship. Most of the times, yes, it comes in the form of a partner."

Does Ranbir seek love inspiration from any of his characters? He says, "Well, I do believe characters do extraordinary things only when they are in love. No selfish character will do anything extraordinary. And when you're young, starting out, mostly love stories are written for you. It's a great genre. What you stand for, believe about love, politics, people, society, kind of reflects in your films. Because I'm not really doing anything apart from my movies."

The handsome heartthrob will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra which also stars Amitabh Bachchan besides Ranbir and Alia. RK also has YRF's period drama Shamshera coming in 2020 and a film with Ajay Devgn by Luv Ranjan in his kitty.
