At a recent event too, the actress was asked to express her views about 'breaking stereotypes,' 'beauty standards' and her next films. She also gave an interview to a leading magazine about the same. Kangana, like she always does, talked in a way that is sure to inspire many. Here are a few interesting statements she made in last few days:

On breaking stereotypes through her work:
I met with a nerve-wracking accident while shooting the film. It left me with a scar on my forehead. But when I look back now, I carry this scar with pride. I am nowhere close to Jhansi Ki Rani, but her story definitely gave me courage and strength to do this physically challenging part.

I am someone who has always taken on diverse roles and broken most stereotypes.

On the importance of fitness:
I strongly believe that it helps me become a better version of myself physically, while also contributing immensely to my mental strength. The power of the mind is such that once I set my heart and mind on something, I will strive to achieve it no matter what.

On always trying harder:
I believe in taking the road less travelled, discovering new things about myself and pushing my own boundaries to reach a newer, better, fitter and stronger space.

On her experiences:
I am a straightforward person. I have always said exactly what is on my mind and voiced my opinion on what I believe is right -- whether it is in my personal life, or professional.

My experiences, whether good or bad, have definitely helped me evolve and made me who I am today

On what pushes her to do better:
The best feeling is being able to do something you think you wouldn't be able to. It is this high that I enjoy and what pushes me to brave any obstacles laid out for me.

On how 'all women are beautiful':
We have to see beauty in each other. I haven't come across a woman who's not beautiful in her own way. In fact, India is a diverse country; and we have every possible colour, height, shape, and size here. I, myself, am a mountain woman, I have curly hair. Most people confuse me for a Latin girl. I know so many Indian actresses with beautiful, dark, chocolate skin and almond eyes. Tall girls, petite girls, rounded girls... Indian woman are known for their curves, their hair.

All woman are beautiful and we need to get that in our head and stop being afraid of each other.

On the need of love among women:
You know, I read a wonderful quote: 'Dear woman, don't be scared of greatness and each other'. And I think that really holds true and we need to understand that we need to reflect through each other. We need to be together. I don't see enough love among woman; I don't see enough among them, and that's used against us in every way. We have to stick together and sort of endorse 'girl love', and we have to watch each other's back because that's the only way.

We can't rise individually, we can only rise together.
