Film actress Ayesha Takia who made her Bollywood debut with Taarzan: The Wonder Car in 2004 and was the leading lady of Salman Khan in Wanted is in the news lately. Her husband Farhan Azmi on Tuesday sought help from the Mumbai Police after his actress wife, mother and sister were harassed, threatened and stalked by a litigant. Azmi, took to his social media to tweet the details and seek help from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj as a last effort after being turned away by the Mumbai Police repeatedly.
Farhan also claimed that Deputy Commissioner of Police Paramjit Singh Dahiya had illegally frozen their bank accounts and was refusing to answer his calls or respond to his messages. He, therefore, urged the Prime Minister and EAM Sushma Swaraj for help.

Farhan also shared screenshots to support his claim that DCP Dahiya was avoiding him. In the screenshots shared he asks Dahiya to call him back. Later on, he alleged, “You and your officers are helping this man harass my family and wife.” He further wrote, “We will be forced to address a press conference because of you not helping us and avoiding my calls.”

He even asked the Tweeple to lend support so that DCP Dahiya responds to his calls and messages.

The matter was later resolved, as Farhan tweeted, “Thank you @DevenBhartiIPS Ji #MumbaiPolice for stepping in. I trust the Mumbai Police. 3 rotten apples cannot spoil #theappletree @CPMumbaiPolice @MumbaiPolice"

Apparently, the litigant has been calling Ayesha repeatedly and threatening her. The man was calling Farhan’s mother and sister when Ayesha refused to pick the calls. The miscreant has all Ayesha’s personal numbers and threatens her through calls and messages. The man demanded Ayesha should meet him and on not doing so threatened that he will get Farhan involved in fake court cases which will land him in jail.
Farhan has lodged a complaint in the matter.
