Ever since they first crossed paths during Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela, it has been an all hearts situation for Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Over the years, reports in several sections of the press have accustomed to referring to them as a 'couple', dropping prefixes like 'alleged' and 'rumoured.' Besides their on-screen chemistry, Ranveer and Deepika have always been forthcoming about their mushy PDA.
They are spotted hand-in-hand in public, bond over family lunches or dinners, only have eyes for each other in a room and claim to be taken on social media — all these things and more bundled up together don't leave any room for anything more for one to believe that there’s a real spark between Ranveer and Deepika! And as per recent set of reports, the lovebirds are all set to solemnize their relationship. Amid the numerous conjectures doing the rounds, Switzerland and Mumbai are the top contenders for their wedding venue. However, a fresh report by a leading daily suggests that the Padukones and the Bhavnanis might jet off to the picturesque locales of Italy for the much-awaited union of the year!
The report in the daily quoted a source as saying, “Ranveer’s Simmba will be wrapped up by then. He might just have some patchwork left to do. Deepika, meanwhile, is in talks for various movies, but is yet to begin any project. Their brand endorsement duties will also be adjusted.”
Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Kapoor are on the guest list, but the ceremony will be intimate otherwise, suggests the daily. “Both, Ranveer and Deepika, were keen to have a small ceremony. The wedding at a foreign destination will give them the privacy they desire. They will probably have a reception in Mumbai for their friends and colleagues. A few people from Bollywood like Arjun Kapoor, who is one of Ranveer’s closest B-Town buddies, and Shah Rukh Khan, who is fond of Deepika, may join the celebrations in Italy. The rest of the wedding party will comprise the couple’s family members and pals,” a source informed the leading newspaper.
It is mention worthy that Deepika was spotted buying jewellery with her mother recently. Reportedly, Ranveer has bought two floors in the building that he stays in and is renovating them. Buzz is that Deepika and Ranveer will stay there after they get married. It was also reported by a leading daily that Ranveer is planning to go on a bachelors’ trip in July with his close friends and buddies.
