Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 is a real-life story to be shot in Ghaziabad from September?

Salman Khan is going to kick-start his next, Bharat with Priyanka Chopra once he's back in the country after Da-bangg US tour. The actor will then hop on to shoot Dabangg 3 with Arbaaz Khan and Prabhudeva. The details about this third film in the popular franchise have so far been kept under the wraps. However, a leading daily has learnt that the film is based on the real-life story of a Noida cop.

As reported by the daily, Salman will begin shooting for Dabangg 3 in September this year. In fact, the movie will be shot extensively in UP's Ghaziabad and Noida areas, considering the makers want to give the film some authenticity this time.

The previous two installments, Dabangg and Dabangg 2 were set in UP's Laalganj and Kanpur, respectively. However, none of them were actually shot at the real location.

A source close to the daily revealed, "The idea is to make Dabangg 3 more realistic and take it a few notches above the previous installments in every possible way. Since the story is based on a real cop, the film’s makers felt that shooting in a North Indian city like Ghaziabad would add to the storytelling. Moreover, the city is being treated like a character in the movie. While the previous films in the franchise have been shot in Wai (in Maharashtra), shooting in Ghaziabad will also give the third outing a different and fresh look".

The cast of the film is yet to be announced. However, speculations are rife that Salman is going to launch director Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter, Ashwami in the film. It is also reported that his Race 3 co-actor, Saqib Saleem will be seen playing the role of an antagonist in Dabangg 3.

More details on the film are keenly awaited!
