But the singleton didn't last long as the tag was soon up for grabs since the Met Gala 2017 appearance with American singer-songwriter Nick Jonas to be precise.

From sashaying down a prestigious international red carpet as each other's gorgeous arm candy to walking arm in arm at the family wedding to cozying up at corner tables on dinner dates, Nick and Priyanka's romance has only gotten real with time. With Nick arriving in India with the gorgeous actress, meeting her mother and supposedly even popping the question, Priyanka is letting her actions do the talking.

Amid these unabashed and outspoken public appearances comes the news of their engagement. As reported by a leading magazine, the Quantico actress got the handsome American to meet her family and close friends, and apparently planned the engagement during the trip. If the report is to be believed, 'Nickyanka' as their fans fondly refer the two as, shall exchange rings by July end or in August this year.

The rumoured couple, who played down speculations they were dating when they showed up at the 2017 Met Gala in New York together, have now embarked on a real relationship it seems. The Baywatch star, in the recent months, was seen roaming around with the singer on a boat with friends over America's Memorial Day weekend last month and was photographed cuddling up to him in a group photograph while they attended a Dodgers baseball game here together on May 26, holding hands.

Clearly, the buzz around their affair is quite strong, and while we await an official confirmation on the engagement bit, it would indeed be the most exciting union of the year to say the least!
