Diljit Dosanjh starrer Soorma, which is a biopic on Indian hockey legend, Sandeep Singh, is making just the right buzz. After releasing an awe-inspiring trailer, the makers have released a short video featuring Diljit prepping up for his character.
The movie throws light on the difficult journey of Sandeep Singh from a non-avid sportsperson to one of India's best hockey players. Diljit can be seen sweating it out to get into the perfect shape of an athlete. A rigorous training, strict routine and zeal to not-give-up, the close to two minute video has everything the word conviction is made of.

Earlier, the trailer of the film has created a stir among the audience. Having a story of a real life hero on celluloid always helps the audience to know their hero better, and therefore, get better inspiration from him. The same has happened in the past with films like Bhaag Mikha Bhaag, Paan Singh Tomar, Manjhi: The Mountain Man among others.
Soorma, directed by Shaad Ali, seems another beautiful attempt in the same direction. It pumps up the blood and readies you to not be afraid of anything which is putting you down.

Apart from Diljit, the movie also features Taapsee Pannu, Angad Bedi and Kulbhushan Kharband in pivotal roles. Soorma is slated for release on July 13.
