Virat Kohli received the Cricketer of the Year Award from BCCI today, June 12, in Bengaluru. The Indian skipper was anointed with the Polly Umrigar Award (Best International Cricketer) at the annual BCCI ceremony for two consecutive years (2016-17, 2017-18).
The cricketer was accompanied by his wife, actress Anushka Sharma at the event. And that made the achievement even more special for him. As Virat went on the stage to collect the award, he thanked the love of his life and mentioned how lucky was he to be receiving this award in front of her.
