The gush fest on team Brahmastra continues and who can blame them! Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog to describe Alia and Ranbir as “impeccable artists”. Alia has returned the compliment declaring, “Working with AB has been supreme greatness!” She revealed that Amitabh Bachchan had packed up an hour before the actual pack up but he stayed back on set just to give them the ‘ques’. The Bhatt lass added, “I can't begin to explain the amount of things I am learning on set just by watching him.”
To all those scandalized by her abbreviated version of the legendary Bachchan’s name, she responded, “Yes, yes I call him AB because that's the term of endearment we've all agreed to. Thank you for being so wonderful, sir. Can't wait to get back onto the set with you, Ayan and Ranbir for some more Brahmastra madness.”

Of course, Bachchan was more than happy with the praise but he did also take time to point out Alia’s little gaffe – it’s not ‘ques’ but cues, as in prompting signals!

The second schedule of Brahmastra went on the floors earlier this week, and on his blog, Bachchan wrote of the “absolute joy” of being in the company of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia as he began his first day with “these two impeccable artists”. He also mentioned that though he has the pictures, he lacks the permission to release them. We love the way he mischievously quips, “I mean, I could release them but then the production would promptly release me from the film, so I take ample precaution and desist.”

He also pointed out that it is slightly awkward for him to be in the midst of this production where the average age onset is about 26. He adds, “I am the largest misfit at 76. I mean this is ridiculous.. 76,” he says. Seventy-six and treasured by all around, is something he is probably too modest to add!
