It’s time now for the super-busy Akshay Kumar to take it a tad easy. But knowing just how much energy he buzzes with, even vacations are not about kicking back and vegetating for the full-of-beans star. The star and his kids Aarav and Nitara have flown off for their annual vacation last night. First on the list in London, where they will spend some quality time together. They will be later joined by Twinkle who will leave Mumbai after she completes a professional commitment here on June 9. Seeing how the couple shares glimpses of their vacations on social media, we can’t wait to see how they will be enjoying themselves this time around.

Last year around this time, the Bhatias (yes, that’s Akshay’s surname) had kick-started their holiday with Akshay flying to Florida with son, Aarav. The first eight days of their vacation had been reserved for some father-son bonding. The two, who were in Tampa, Florida, drove around a couple of beach destinations and also indulged in some adventure sports like surfing, and snorkelling. After that, they flew on to London, where they were joined by Twinkle and Nitara.

The London vacay isn’t their first holiday this year; in January Akshay had taken a long break with his family right before he could plunge into the promotions of his production PadMan. He, wife Twinkle Khanna and their children were on a two-week-long vacation in South Africa, where they were spotted enjoying their time in Cape Town.

Akshay’s enviable schedule sees him managing gruelling work schedules with adequate play time. He shoots for at least three films a year and still manages to carve out time for two annual vacations. Currently, he has completed a mega schedule for Kesari in Spiti. He also completed filming a song for Gold and shot for two social awareness campaigns for road safety and no smoking. Now a well-deserved vacation begins and we will have our eyes peeled!
