Cricketer Shane Watson was back to his brutal best as the opener notched up a scintillating unbeaten 117 runs, and helped Chennai Super Kings lift their third Indian Premier League (IPL) title, thrashing Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in the summit clash at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
Besides the nail-biting finale keep viewers at the edge of their seat, a special IPL finale prelude programme on Star Plus, called “Cricket finals… party toh banti hai” kept the audience hooked on from 5 pm onwards.
