BFF Swara Bhasker is gushing over perfectly matched couple Sonam-Anand and it’s cute

Swara Bhasker and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had hit it off way back during the shooting of Raanjhaana. Sonam herself had broken the ice – and the misconceptions Swara had about her! Apparently, once there was a problem with the electricity in Swara's vanity van. Sonam generously offered to share her own vanity with Swara. She sent a person from her team to invite Swara over but when Swara demurred, Sonam herself landed up at her doorstep demanding to know what was keeping her! It was the start of a strong friendship between these two beautiful, intelligent, independent girls.

While Sonam hails from a cinema background, and Swara is a complete outsider to the business, they nevertheless bonded well from the beginning. Apart from Raanjhaana, they worked together in Salman Khan-starrer, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and now yet again in Veere Di Wedding.

Swara has gone on record to say that Sonam is a “tremendous person” and that she has been “a surprise at every turn”. “I have no shame in saying that our friendship is 100 percent Sonam's effort. She is the one who not just befriended me but won over all my prejudices by constantly trying,” revealed Swara.

Reuniting in Veere Di Wedding Swara, who plays Sakshi in the film, shares that the amount of fun she had during VDW was equivalent to the good times she had at her BFF Sonam's wedding. In fact, she danced so much that her slip disc problem got aggravated and she has now been advised bed rest for some time!

Sharing insights into the Sonam-Anand relationship, Swara shares that the couple are the perfect match made in heaven. While Sonam gives a lot of importance to her relationships and is even possessive about her friends, these traits are also seen in Anand who takes care of Sonam's friends. She believes Sonam has wed her ideal life partner, who is happy and fun-loving. Cute or what??
