John Abraham’s 'Shubh Din' from Parmanu will be the melody to celebrate all our victories

John Abraham and Diana Penty starrer Parmanu: The story of Pokhran is finally seeing the light of the day after many months of disputes and legal issues. The first song from the film titled Shubh Din has been released today. And it is a reminder of our biggest military achievements on which the film is based. Parmanu is the story of India’s nuclear bomb test explosions that were conducted by the Indian military in 1998 in Pokhran.

The song Shubh Din is composed by ace music composer duo Sachin and Jiger. The lyrics for this beautiful track are penned by Vayu and is sung by Jyotica Tangri and Keerthi Sagathia. The film also stars Boman Irani in a pivotal role. The trailer was released earlier this week and we are already bursting with pride.

During the trailer launch, John addressed multiple questions regarding the film. He said, “It is not an anti-Pakistan film in any way”. John added, “Yes, we are (releasing the movie in Pakistan). This is not an anti-Pakistan film, it is a pro-India film. So, from the beginning, we were very clear that it is a film about India and we want to celebrate the story.”

The film was in a lockdown after its initial co-producers JA Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment became at loggerheads. John had filed criminal cases against Prernaa Arora and her company KriArj Entertainment, for cheating, breach of trust, defamation and offences committed under the Information Technology Act.

The film features John Abraham, Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Vikas Khanna and Yogendra Tikku. After many struggles and controversies, the film written by Saiwyn Quadras and Sanyukta Shaikh Chawla will finally be released on May 25, 2018.
