Just like daddy Amitabh and Rishi: Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor in pouty selfie

These dudes are clearly paying homage to their dads who come together onscreen in 102 Not Out. Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor threw caution to the winds and tried their best pouts for the camera. Clearly, they were echoing their respective dads Amitabh and Rishi, who had recently done likewise as part of their promotion for their film together.

The seniors had grabbed eyeballs with their attempts at acing the pouting game. In fact, the promo video had shown Bachchan Senior showing his younger contemporary Rishi how to pout and take selfies. It had gone viral across popular digital platforms, with millennials loving the sight of the two seniors struggling to put on their best goldfish faces.

Bachchan had even asked the pout expert Karan Johar for his opinion on their pouty pic. Karan had given it a big thumbs-up, adding that both the senior actors were pouting “on point”!

Now their sons Abhishek and Ranbir essay some serious cool as they flash the victory sign and some smouldering expressions along with their mean pouts. Their selfie was taken when they came together on Tuesday night for the special screening of the film which sees Amitabh and Rishi playing father and son.

Abhishek and Ranbir are known to be friends and share a special bonding over football. They have often been spotted practising the sport at a playground in Bandra over the weekends.

In fact, in April this year, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Arjun Kapoor had visited Singapore to play a friendly match along with other men from the entertainment and television industry. AB and RK were even filmed dancing together, doing the hook steps of ‘Kajra re…’ while ‘Kala chashma…’ was being played in the background! Abhishek had replied to the video that was shared, quipping, “Hahaha. Ranbir and I just couldn’t get the steps so we did one that we knew.”

The bromance is apparently alive and pouting – like fathers, like sons.
