Sri, Sri Ma’am: Some of the titles Boney Kapoor registers for Sridevi documentary

It was on February 16 this year, while Sridevi was very much alive among us, that news broke of a Bangalore fan club that was creating a special documentary to mark the 53-year-old actress’s golden jubilee in films. The five-part docu-drama series was pegged to feature her life and achievements in films.

It had been revealed that the co-founders of the club had already had several meetings with Boney Kapoor, Sridevi’s filmmaker husband and shared their plans for their project. The hour-long films would combine archival footage, and interviews with Sri’s co-stars from the South film industries as well as Bollywood, and family. Also included would be Sridevi’s interviews in magazines and her hit magazine covers from the Eighties.
