The teaser of the much anticipated Sanjay Dutt biopic, titled Sanju, released and had everyone gushing. None more than leading man Ranbir’s cousin, Kareena Kapoor of course! Bebo raved, “Who better than Ranbir Kapoor to replicate the life of Sanjay Dutt. I don’t think there’s anyone better than him.” Seeing RK’s stunning transformation as Dutt, we’re in no mood to disagree!

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania starrer Veere Di Wedding which is based on female bonds is something we were yearning for. The story revolves around a young woman who is engaged and is coming to terms with the big fat Indian wedding that comes in tow. Needless to say, we can already see this film dominating the box office for weeks to come.
CM takes back his words
Chief Minister of Tripura, Biplap Deb had to eat humble pie. His negative statements about former Miss World Diana Hayden and her skin colour brought down a ton of criticism on his head. He ended up making some sort of apology which went, “I was talking about how the handlooms of the state could be marketed well. If anybody is hurt or feeling defamed, I regret this… I respect all women as my mother.”
More disaster for this disaster film…
One more hiccup for the seemingly jinxed Kedarnath. Now its producer Prernaa Arora has gone and sold the rights of this Sushant Singh Rajput-Sara Ali Khan starrer to Vashu Bhagnani and two others! Now director Abhishek Kapoor has filed a police complaint against Prernaa. Will the disasters never cease?!
Rehab to the rescue
After his recent meltdown, hope floats for Kapil Sharma. The comedian-talk show host is currently undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation centre in Delhi. He is staying at a hotel in Delhi with girlfriend Ginni and apparently goes to rehab from there every day.

The much-awaited superhero ensemble film, AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR hit India and made history. It raked in the biggest box office collection on day 1, earning an eye-watering Rs.30 crore. This is the highest first-day collection for a Hollywood film in India.

Priyanka Chopra’s plans of playing renowned astronaut Kalpana Chawla have taken a hit. The fate of the biopic is in peril as the late astronaut’s husband Jean-Pierre Harrison has reportedly refused to part with the rights. Knowing PC, she won’t give up so easily though…

Alia Bhatt opened up about Ranbir Kapoor but kept it restricted to work. “When we filmed together, it was exactly the way I had imagined it,” she shared. Prodded about their rumoured romance, she countered, “I strongly believe that ‘silence is golden.’ Even actors have their own personal lives – it’s called ‘personal’ for a reason. I have one too. People can say whatever they want as I don’t get bothered by such ‘stories’. I just hope people don’t think that this is all that I’m doing in my life.” Touche!

How many stars can boast of a train that bears their name? Well, add Ranveer Singh’s name to that very exclusive list. The star, who is the brand ambassador of Swiss Tourism, has been honoured with a train named after him, called Ranveer On Tour. Ride on!

They refuse to say when the wedding bells will ring but they are prepping for life together post the pheras… Ranveer and Deepika with daddy Prakash Padukone in tow, recently checked out the rooftop flat – a penthouse – on the 28th floor of a highrise. It reportedly costs around Rs.40 crore and they seemed to be interested.
