Yash Raj Films subsidiary Y Films which is known for its youth-oriented films is now collaborating with Dharma Production which is headed by filmmaker Karan Johar for a quirky project. While further info on the project will be shared on April 26, we can already tell it is bound to be "Isspeshal".
YRF took to Twitter to share the news. They wrote, "It's almost time to introduce something really isspeshal! Want to know what @karanjohar and @Y_films are coming together for? Find out on 26th April 2018! #Isspeshal6"

Even Y-Films earlier shared a teaser of their upcoming project which has the words "Music makes life better!" featured in an artistic manner along with a very upbeat background music. Y-Films wrote on Twitter, "Super-Duper excited to introduce someone really isspeshal! Coming April 26th, 2018. #Isspeshal6"

Although the two production houses are quite different with respect to the budget, their ideologies are quite similar. With movies like Student of the Year, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and more in Karan Johar's bag it's no surprise the two production houses have something big and special in the works.
Karan Johar previously worked as an assistant director in Yash Raj Film's Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995 which runs in cinema even now and is considered as one of the classics in the Indian Cinema Industry. Karan then continued working with Dharma Productions established by his father Yash Johar in 1979. Known for featuring lavish sets and exotic locations whilst also upholding Indian traditions and family values, the production house rose to prominence in the late 90s. After the death of his father Yash at the age of 74 due to a chest infection, Karan took the reigns of the production house. And there was no going back ever since for the production house which had a widespread success.
