Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has been one of Salman Khan’s closest friends. Their bond goes back decades and their friendship has only grown stronger over the many years. Naturally, now that Salman has been convicted in the blackbuck case and sentenced to five years of imprisonment, it didn’t take long for Sajid to rush to be close to the star.
Apparently, Sajid has flown to Jodhpur after news of Salman’s court verdict broke. After a night spent in the Jodhpur Central Jail, Salman’s bail plea will be heard today. Naturally, Nadiadwala wants to be as close to his friend as possible at this crucial time.

It’s no surprise either that Sajid has cancelled the success party of his latest film Baaghi 2. This Tiger Shroff actioner is going great guns at the box office and has already crossed Rs.100 crore within the first week of its release. However, plans for the glitzy party that had been arranged to celebrate the film’s success have been dropped. Sajid is in no mood to celebrate while his buddy goes through a difficult time.
The two have worked together in several films, including Kick, Jaan-E-Mann: Let's Fall in Love... Again, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega and Judwaa. Speaking about Kick, which had marked Sajid’s debut as director, he had spoken at length about the experience of directing his old friend, Salman. “It was very easy. We have been so strong for these last 20 years that nothing has come between us. We are so easy and comfortable with each other, he knows me and I know him, so shooting with him was like a picnic. The only thing that stressed me was starting early.”
Salman has been a constant support to Sajid and vice versa. It was only expected that Sajid would want to be at hand during Salman’s crisis.
