The savage Queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut turns 31 today. And no, she is not waiting to blow candles on her birthday cake surrounded by paparazzi and industry friends. Instead, she got herself busy planting saplings in the fertile land of hometown – Manali.
She sister Rangoli Chandel took to Twitter to show off her sisters gardening skills. She wrote, “On her b’day our little Queen gifts herself a greener planet ...May you live long and live a beautiful life .. #HappyBirthdayKanganaRanaut,”

Netizens and her fans even paid a visit to her greener backyard and shared their pictures. The actress planted a total of 31 plants. She has recently inaugurated her new house in Manali. The plantation saga has been on-going for a week now. Kiwis, cherries apricots and apples are set to blossom in Kangana’s new backyard.
The actress credits her gardening skills to her mother, says, “My mamma always maintained a kitchen garden where we would grow vegetables and apples. I have always had fresh veggies from there. But I realized my love for gardening only now. I like to eat organic food and I love getting my shoes and hands dirty while digging the soil and planting trees. It takes an hour every day and is tiring, but it’s also a stress buster,”.

Now that she is in her 30’s she shares, “As you get into your 30s, there is a shift in your personality. The things you really want become clear to you. Besides professional growth, I want to grow in the personal space, too. I want to improve my personality, learn many other things, and be the woman I’ve always wanted to be.” She has even gifted herself a grand piano. “Learning the piano was always on my bucket list and this is a perfect time. I am a classical music freak and always attend such concerts. So, this was a conscious decision. The piano is very tough and as of now, my teacher is playing and I am only listening.”
Kangana is set to be seen portraying the character of the queen of Jhansi in her period-drama Manikarnika. The shoot for the film has been wrapped recently. Her next flick with Rajkummar Rao, Mental Hai Kya, has garnered all the attention for its whacky posters that leaves us intrigued and curious.
