The news of John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee signing a dark, action-packed filmed for Nikkhil Advani and Bhushan Kumar made rounds in the news last year. Now it has been officially announced that debutante Aisha Sharma who has been modelling for the past four years has been signed to play John's lady love in the film.

Aisha, Neha Sharma's younger sibling recently had a photoshoot with John for this project and looking at the pictures we are hoping to see some magic on the big screen. In an interview with a leading daily, Aisha got candid about her sister, the film, role in it and more.

On her sister:

"My two other siblings are academically inclined and live in Chicago. Even Neha, my style influence, is a NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) graduate.

On her role:

"They (makers) saw the tape and really liked it. I remember my first meeting with Nikkhil sir. I walked into his office, saw that he was in a meeting and went straight into the conference room as it was the only empty room. He later joked, ‘You stroll in and take over my office’, to which I retorted that he couldn’t bully a newbie,"

This newbie who will be playing the role of a vet, says she is more than just a pretty face. Her role is of someone who stands up and supports a cause. She has also been prepping for her role, "And I have been observing my dog’s vet closely". She also mentioned, “My dog, Joy, is like a sibling and I have her name tattooed on my hand,".

The actress is currently occupied with readings, workshops and diction classes. The film is being helmed by Milap Zaveri. John has already started shooting for the film, she will be joining them on March 18.
