Reeling under the shock of the untimely demise of Sridevi, the film fraternity is doing the best it can to reach out to the bereaved Kapoors and show their love and affection for the legendary actress.
It was touching to see Rani Mukerji gently remove the little piles of flower petals that were placed on Sridevi’s casket by grieving mourners at the Celebration Club, Lokhandwala. She did this silently and lovingly after each person would pay their respects to the beloved actress.

Bedecked in bridal red, the beautiful Sridevi made her final journey to the Pawan Hans Crematorium, Vile Parle, for the final rites.

As we informed you earlier today, her bier has been draped with the national flag while lying in state at the Celebration Sports Club in Lokhandwala. The actress, who is also a Padma Shri award-winner, is to be accorded a state funeral and 13-gun salute by armed constables of the Mumbai Police, specially deputed for this honour.
It is an honour she fully deserves.
