Shah Rukh declares love for Sophia, parties with Justin

Shah Rukh Khan, the ‘Chosen One’ has responded to the revelation of a ‘special lady’ that he is her favourite…

Sophia, the humanoid who has been created by Hanson Robotics and is the first robot to be made a citizen of nation, declared that Shah Rukh Khan was her favourite star. She let the world know of her choice during an interactive session at the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT).

Naturally, when SRK learnt of this rare honour, he was quick to respond. He took to Twitter to write, “Public declaration of love for a ‘lady’ who has come to my country, India. U Simulate me, every bit and byte of u, Sophia.”
Guess that should make Sophia love him a little bit and byte more!

A humanoid, Sophia is a combination of robotic hardware and artificial intelligence software, speech recognition and artificial skin material. She can simulate 48 natural muscles of the human face and each one will have a few thousand potential "positions". Sophia was also given a Saudi Arabian citizenship recently.

Among the revelations Sophia made were that machines would never destroy the human race, she wants to work for women's rights, and that while she doesn’t get upset like humans do, she hopes to have real physiological feelings someday and express her emotions.

Last evening, SRK also met Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family in Mumbai. Justin Trudeau, along with wife Sophie Gregoire, daughter Ella-Grace and sons Xavier James and Hadrien landed in Delhi last Saturday. They are on a week-long visit to India. The pictures of Shah Rukh with the Trudeau, show the Canadian first family dressed in Indian attire. While the dishy PM Justin wore a sherwani, Mrs. Trudeau carried off a beautiful off-white sari with confidence.

At this meeting with top businessmen and celebrities, the Canadian PM also met Farhan Akhtar, Anupam Kher, and others.
