Nirav Modi Fraud Case: Priyanka Chopra sues jewelry czar, Sidharth Malhotra explores legal options

Troubles for Nirav Modi just do not seem to end as Priyanka Chopra has SLAPPED a CASE on the Diamond King & even Sidharth malhotra is exploring legal options

A-list jewelry designer, Nirav Modi, is currently making news for all the wrong reasons. The luxury diamond owner landed in trouble after Punjab National Bank said it had detected “fraudulent and unauthorised” transactions by him amounting to Rs. 11,360 crore at a branch in Mumbai”.

If that news wasn’t bad enough, Priyanka Chopra, who was appointed as a global ambassador by the luxury diamond jeweler, has dragged Nirav Modi to court for non-payment of dues. The National-award winning global superstar has already cut off ties with him. She and her team have blamed him for non-payments for their endorsement deals.

Back in January 2017 when Priyanka was announced as the brands global brand ambassador she had said "My association with Nirav Modi is like a meeting of minds in many ways. We are both fiercely proud of our heritage and are united by the idea of bringing a modern India to the global forefront. His jewels are one of a kind and effortless, with an understated elegance".

Priyanka Chopra, whose shot several campaigns for the brand, including one with the boy-next-door Sidharth Malhotra, who was recently appointed as the labels brand ambassador, is looking to terminating his deal with Mr. Modi.

Priyanka, has yet to receive a huge chunk of her money for her recent romantic ad campaign, between her and Sidharth. Yes, the same campaign which had us tapping the heart-eyed emoji.

Looks like the renowned diamantaire who managed to make a mark, not just amongst our B-town celebs but also in Hollywood, has landed himself in real trouble.

Recently Nirav Modi was in news when his younger brother tied the knot to Mukesh Ambani's niece.
