What’s the truth behind the Sushant Singh Rajput-Sara Ali Khan tragic love story Kedarnath? Rumours are flying fast and furious about the massive fallout between the four producers, KriArj Entertainment, T-Series, Guy in The Sky Pictures and Balaji Motion Pictures. And the reason behind this is allegedly a disagreement between director Abhishek Kapoor (of Guy in The Sky Pictures) and producers Prerna Arora and Arjun N Kapoor of KriArj.
One side of the story is that KriArj and T-Series had huge financial and creative differences with Abhishek who, media reports say, has a history of falling out with his co-producers. And due to that, both decided to part ways with Abhishek and are now not part of Kedarnath anymore. Another media story says that Abhishek decided to terminate his contract with KriArj because Prerna and Arjun reportedly defaulted in payments and lacked transparency in dealings with him.

This, due to the contradictory claims, may or may not be true. Another bone of contention is the film’s release date that Abhishek, who finished the first schedule with great difficulty, went ahead and announced as December 21, 2018. This did not go down well with Prerna, it seems, because that date was already booked by Aanand L Rai’s Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma and she had no desire for Kedarnath to clash with this film.
According to media sources, Abhishek will not be discouraged and is reportedly approaching other production houses to come in where KriArj and T-Series stepped out. However, PeepingMoon.com has come to know that the beleaguered director has not had to look far. He reportedly turned to his cousin Ekta Kapoor and requested her to get Balaji Motion Pictures onboard as a full-time partner and help him complete Kedarnath. If this is true, good luck to Abhishek, because quite frankly – in this maaramari between the producers and director, Bollywood is only concerned about one thing: what happens to Sara Ali Khan’s career debut?
