Sidharth Malhotra apologetic about his disrespectful comment on Bhojpuri language

During his promotional tour, actor Sidharth Malhotra attended Bigg Boss 11 with co-star Manoj Bajpayee, hosted by Salman Khan. During a segment, Sidharth recites Bhojpuri lines after Manoj. However it was his comment on the language that angered fans and especially Neetu Chandra who took to Twitter to address his insulting remarks.

Neetu, who is best remembered for her character in Sekhar Kammula's ‘Godavari’ also shared a clip where Sidharth says that speaking in Bhojpuri gave him "latrine" like feels.

Well, it’s the thought that counts. Better late than never, right?

Meanwhile, Sidharth’s Aiyaary that was slated to release on January 26th was shifted to February 9 to avoid the massive box office clash between the period drama Padmaavat and Akshay Kumar’s PadMan. Now with Akshay Kumar shifting the release date to February 9, PadMan will be competing with Aiyaary at the box office.
