Nobody expected them to get into a no-holds-barred slanging match in public, yet interest ran high to see what could happen when Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut came face to face! Apparently, they did cross paths at the Mumbai Police annual event, Umang 2018, but ignored each other royally – no gnashing of teeth or tossing of heads happening here! They simply went their separate ways with quiet dignity – something neither of them had displayed at the height of their very ugly and very public war!
It has admittedly become extremely uncomfortable for the two reported ex-lovers to even be seen together at the same event, after their torrid and seemingly never-ending spat. Both generally ensure that they give a public event a miss if the other is attending. And when it comes to private dos, they are rarely on the same guest list. Last Diwali, when they were bound to run into each other at the many bashes hosted in B-town, Kangana chose to give the entire potential drama a miss by flying off to her hometown for a quiet celebration with her family.

Umang, though was a date they had to keep. This time too they ensured they were not within clicking distance of each other – though the paparazzi did try their darndest to get a scoop shot or two! While Kangana attended in a show of support to the police cause, Hrithik performed on stage and had the audience predictably enraptured by his moves. Yes, the cameras eagerly searched her face for any sign of emotion as she watched him dance – they were left disappointed. Ms. Ranaut, resplendent in a green Sabyasachi sari, had on her best queenly face, straight out of her Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi!
