With Saif flying off to Delhi to promote his upcoming film Kaalakaandi which hits theatres this Friday, his begum was in the mood to catch up with her gal pals. Kareena threw a cozy dinner party for her friends, including sister Karisma, bestie Amrita Arora and Mallika Bhat at her gorgeous home. And going by the pics shared, much fun was had.
The beauties rocked as they pouted for selfies galore, flashing lipstick shades that were straight out of a cosmetic commercial. Amrita, looking lovely in a denim dress, posted photos on social media, captioning them, “Back to basics with my girlies.”

This girl gang has remained extremely close over the years; they don’t just party together but also stand up for each other at all times. Kareena had once spoken about her “girl gang” comprising her sister Karisma, Malaika (Arora), Amrita (Arora Ladak), and a couple of other friends. “We always try and catch up over a good meal and some wine. I enjoy a glass or two of red wine.”
There was no sign of Bebo’s adorable tot, Taimur. Must have been way past the munchkin’s bedtime, anyway! Tim – as his dad has nicknamed him – did crop up in Saif’s conversation the previous day. With children’s brands keen to cash in on his huge popularity, apparently, feelers are already being sent the Khans’ way. Asked about this news at a special screening of Kaalakaandi, Saif had replied, “If I get offered one deal (with Taimur), I’ll take it. I’m open (to feature in an ad with Taimur). You’ll have to pay me though, lots!”
Saif had also spoken about his oldest child, Sara’s upcoming debut film, Kedarnath. “I am scared for all because when films release, you do get a little scared. A lot of people have put in their hard work. Sara (daughter) is also alone and her whole life is in front of her, so it feels like my own film is releasing,” revealed the slightly nervous daddy. “This is her dream, so I would want all her dreams to come true,” he added.
He was a lot more chilled out about his wife’s comeback, saying, “Kareena is a good artiste... She has put in so much of hard work and patience that it wouldn't be difficult for her to make a comeback.”
