Padmavat certified U/A? The film to be released anytime soon…

The highly controversial historical drama, Padmavat according to PeepingMoon sources finally got its long-awaited censor certificate. Apparently, the film has been certified as U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification and its runtime is for 2 hrs and 43 minutes (163 minutes) after undergoing 5 modifications. While an official announcement is yet to be made, sources also say that the film might release anytime soon to avoid further chaos.

It’s a tough decision to make for the producers and director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. While earlier we reported that the director was keen on releasing the film on February 9, the producers were looking at an earlier date such as January 26. The film is bound to clash with either PadMan (which will release on the 25th) and Aiyaary on the 26th or Pari and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety on the 9th.
