All eyes are glued to her Instagram feed, as she shares peeks into her Bali vacation with her besties. There’s one of Alia with her 'soul friend' Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, beside a beach, captioned “I like me better when I'm with you,” with a heart emoticon added on. Another pic shows the two lasses in shorts, sitting on a low wall. Yet more pics and videos follow, showing glimpses of the food they are tucking into, the drinks they are slurping on, the funny faces they are making for the cameras, and basically just all that goes on, on when besties take off together. And that image of Alia sitting by the pool, sporting a large sunhat emblazoned with the words, ‘Do Not Disturb’… it couldn’t be meant for a certain Mr.Malhotra, we hope!

A few months ago, Alia had shared some gorgeous images of Akansha and herself from Kashmir, while she was shooting there for Raazi. From shikara rides, to giggles on the lawns, the two had enjoyed some great bonding moments. Alia had also shared an image, wishing Akansha on her birthday, which she captioned, “A million unforgettable memories, a gazillion inside jokes & a trillion shared secrets! Happy birthday my soul friend... the word best friend seems too basic after 24 years :) here's to several handful of cashews, mishaps in the park and moments in the dark haha sorry that's the only thing that rhymed! Alia is extremely fond of her bestie and never hesitates to go the extra mile for her. Last year, on Akansha’s birthday, Alia had driven 8 hours from Jhansi, where she had wrapped up the second schedule of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, to Lucknow, from where she caught a flight to Mumbai. Hours after landing in Mumbai, she had hopped on to another flight to Spain to surprise her Akansha on her birthday.
These are ‘soul friends’ and we are absolutely hearting the pics they make.
